To live, we’ve to eat, but when people are eating junk food and fry food that is very wrong food. Basically that is not food at all. So Eating healthy food is utmost important to stay healthy. Means we should eat plant based food; such as-more fruits(fruit salad)vegetables, straight from the Nature.
People think eating fruits and vegetables only, will make their lives dull. I will say, no, it’s not like this. If we know how to cook vegetables in healthy way, then it is not boring at all. I am vegetarian and my whole family is also vegetarian, means we eat only fruits and vegetables.
Everyday I make my family’s food fresh and healthy; such as I make Missi Roti, Sabji from different fresh vegetables, Soup from different Dals(lentils), then garnish them with fresh chopped coriander.
Every day, I Make Fruit salads from different fruits, Make Green Juices in the morning from different vegetables and green leaves. Make Chai tea.

Sometimes to enhance our taste, I make Pakoras, Porries with Tari wale chole or Kabuli Chana. Also make Atta Pennies to eat with tea.
To enjoy something more tasty and healthy rather than tea and milk, because I stopped to drink milk around 7-8 months ago. But I was missing it, so I started to eat Suji Da Halwa in the beginning, but because we have to use a lot of desi ghee to make halwa, so we can’t eat it each and every day.
Because here in Canada, it is so much Cold especially in winter, so that’s why and I’m used to drink milk from my childhood(now I’m 57) so despite of stopping milk 7 months before, still I wanted to drink something hot, so continuously, I was drinking a small cup of tea after my dinner.
From Monday, 22 March, 2021, now I am drinking and even all my family members, we like it a lot and that is Ragi Malt(Ragi Kanji) Little about Ragi Millet->Millets are high in Nutrition and their consumption has many health benefits if we eat them on daily basis. Ragi also called finger millet, which is very good for people of all ages and good for bones as it is a good source of calcium. It is also rich in iron and fiber.
So there is one another option to eat some green herbs; such as-fresh coriander, mint, basil, rosemary, green onion. And even we can use-Cucumber, Zucchini, Baby Spinach, Methi leaves etc. in our Chutneys.
Eating Chutney with your food is good, because it will not only enhance your taste, but you’ve another salty fresh home made dish with your food.
These herbs not only increase the taste of your food, but also help in curing some health issues. Such as mint helps to relieve Indigestion and more.
Coriander helps to protect your heart by lowering blood pressure and LDL (bad) cholesterol while increasing HDL (good) cholesterol. Same way other herbs, which we can use in our chutneys by changing every time different herbs to get their benefits.
So today in this video, you’ll learn to make Zucchini Chutney with other herbs; such as Coriander and Baby Spinach. If you want, you can add green chillies( but not used in this recipe(optional)
Ingredients Needed for Zucchini Chutney
- Zucchini
- Baby Spinach
- Fresh Coriander
- Pink Salt
- Oregano Leaves
- 1/2 Squeezed lemon Juice
- Medium size onion
- Blender
Preparation to Make Chutney
- Wash coriander, baby spinach, zucchini, onion and chop them
- Squeeze lemon juice
- Put everything in blender
- Add pink salt
- Add Oregano leaves
- Add lemon juice and two spoons water
- Blend slowly-slowly
- When all ingredients become to a paste, put in a glass bowl with the lid and keep in fridge
- You can eat this chutney up to 3 days with Rice, Chapati and Khichdi
Zucchini Sabji Recipe
This Zucchini Sabzi is made in very little time and with only two Spices, which keep it healthy. Just added little bit oil and only Pink Salt and Turmeric Powder.

Zucchini is a summer squash that is Native to the Americas. Comparatively to other Vegetables; such as Cauliflower, Indian Squash, Winter Melon etc, it is much more Cheaper. Incorporating zucchini in your diet can help improve digestion including digestive issues.
