Once the moong beans have been sprouted, then we have a quick salad recipe in hand and we can easily flavor according to our own taste.

It is up to you How you want to make it? Because there are so many options to make it; such as you can make this salad spicy, crunchy, tangy or even sweet. 

How to Make Moong Sprouts?

  1. Just soak whole moong in good amount of water overnight
  2. Next day wash them nicely and put in any cotton cloth
  3. Make the knot at the top and you can hang it or I prefer to keep in any bowl, because it keeps it’s moisture for longer time
  4. Wet this cloth after couple of hours and in 1 to 2 days your sprouts will be ready
  5. Make the salad of your choice or even you can use sprouts in Soups and make Sandwich from sprouts by grinding them and adding some greens; such as coriander, onion, green chilies etc.

When you think your moong sprouts are ready, then you can add finely chopped carrot, coriander, mint, broccoli, cucumber, avocado, banana pepper, tomatoes and any other vegetables of your choice.

If you want, you can add freshly squeezed lemon juice and add some black pepper and Pink Himalayan salt.

This salad made from moong sprouts is specially good for people, who does not have much time for cooking or who does not know much about cooking, especially College going students, who are studying in a hostel or staying away from family for job or studies. This is An excellent recipe for whole year to use.

Wholesome Green Moong Dal made in Pressure Cooker is Easy Recipe.  This is a delicious Creamy lentil Soup, that is so easy and quick to make in a Pressure Cooker.

Very nutritious with lots of Protein and perfect for a Cold evening or in any day.

Green Moong Dal is not only easy to make, but also it is so yummy and beneficial for our health.

When one feels heavy and doesn’t like to eat anything else or someone is sick, then moong dal soup is really good and even you can make moong dal Khichdi also.

My both sons love moong dal, it is their favorite dal and they also love Paneer Sabji and Chole Sabji.

You don’t have to Soak Moong Dal and even any other Dal, because in pressure cooker, every Dal takes only couple of whistles to be ready.

Follow the same process as in the video when cooking on in a pressure cooker.

How to Grow Moong Greens in Water?

  1. Soak beans in Cold water around 5 to 7 hours or overnight
  2. Then put beans in a plastic basket
  3. Spread any cotton Soaked towel on top and apply water
  4. Now keep beans in the dark
  5. Apply water once a day
  6. In couple of days, you’ll have moong greens to use

How To Make Moong Dal Pennies?

  • Make powder of Roasted Chana and Dry fruits
  • Make powder of Moong Dal and fry it in little bit Desi Ghee until it becomes Golden brown
  • Make Syrup of Jaggery
  • Mix everything together and start making Pennies.

In my own experience, I have seen that to stay healthy, we should eat healthy food, means we should eat more fruits(fruit salad) more vegetables. Not only this we should do some physical exercises, mental exercise to keep ourselves physically and mentally fit.

Now when people are so busy with their day to day life, even they don’t have time to Cook. I found this Recipe for them, which anybody can make quickly. We should eat more Greens and fresh Vegetables, but some people don’t like to eat Vegetable at all.

Especially for those, who only like to Eat Dals, then I come up with this Moong Dal Khichdi Recipe, where they can add Vegetables of their own choice.

Today you’ll not only learn to make it without Tadka, but also I’ll teach you how to make it by adding so many Vegetables in it of your own choice, which make it more healthy and delicious.

Ingredients we Need are:

Serving is 4 persons

  • Sabut moong 1/2 bowl after soaking it for 3 hours
  • Vegetables; such as-Green beans, Zucchini, Lauki after soaking in the water for 3 hours and then chopped
  • Fresh Coriander and Baby Spinach for Garnish
  • Pour 2 bowls of water in the Pressure Cooker and also add Sabut Moong
  • Add little bit Turmeric powder, Pink Salt and Black pepper to your own taste 3
  • Give 5 whistles and let the steam release automatically
  • Now add chopped vegetables and give two whistles. Let the steam release and then open
  • If you think there is more water then add some Rice after washing and give two more whistles and open the lid after some time
  • Now add Chopped fresh Coriander and baby spinach
  • Serve it with Rice, Chapati and Paratha.

In this whole moong khichdi, I just added a pinch of turmeric powder, pink salt to taste, jeera powder, black pepper and oregano leaves to keep it healthy and natural.

  1. Need Sabut Moong
  2. Need Rice
  3. Any Vegetables to your own taste
  4. Pink Salt
  5. Steel Pressure Cooker
  6. Water

PREPARATION OF KHICHDI:-

  • Soak all vegetables in water for two hours
  • Wash moong and Rice 1/2 an hour ago

METHOD TO MAKE KHICHDI


  • Without peeling all Vegetables, if you have to then take out very thin skin, chop all in small
  • Chop fresh Coriander Separately, because we are going to use it at the end
  • Now switch on your Stove on high flame and put pressure cooker on it
  • Wash Whole moong again and put in the pressure cooker and add enough water for vegetables as well
  • Put Pink Salt to taste and close the lid
  • Give 5 Whistles and wait to release the pressure automatically
  • Open the lid and stir to put all chopped vegetables and if needed, add more water
  • Now give 1-2 whistles and let the pressure release itself
  • Open the lid and add chopped Coriander and serve hot with plain Yogurt and Green Chutney.

How to Grow Moong Greens without Soil?

Sabut Moong is very beneficial for health, especially Khichdi of moong dal, which is good, when someone is sick or feeling heavy.

Moong greens are even more better than using as regular whole moong.
