Due to the Modern lifestyle nowadays we have and as we grow, toxins accumulate in our bodies. Even one is eating healthy food such as I do, still polluted environment and chemicals in the vegetables and fruits stay in our bodies, which make us sick. It is full of toxic substances that stays in our body for years and turn into a disease. According to Ayurveda to stay healthy in this kind of polluted environment, we should detox our bodies regularly to clean our bodies from inside.
There are many ways to detox our body, but I never tried anything before this Enema. So cleaning our intestines with the help of an enema is the one way.
Why I started Enema?
You’ll think, why I started Enema? Basically I believe doing Natural things to cure any problem, which I face and I hate to eat medicines and supplements. Since I’m doing Yoga and Vipassana Meditation, my health improved a lot. But still there were some problems and then I planned to do enema for 10 days.
Despite of doing Yoga, Meditation, eating healthy diet and being a vegetarian all for years, still I was facing Gas problem, sometimes back pain, Migraine and legs burning. I’m watching Videos of Natural Life Style for last couple of years. Acharya Mohan Gupta Naturopath suggests to do Enema and Wet Abdominal Pack (Pet Ki Patti) with the right type of daily diet, Yoga, walk and Meditation.
He said, ” abdominal wet pack can improve hunger and digestion.”
I just started to apply wet Abdominal Pack two days ago and I will write my experiences about this also after using it at least for two weeks in another article.
So Enema helps to cleanse our body internally and get rid from all toxins that are lying in our system from years.
I did Enema couple of times before also, but not continuously. To give a serious try, I planned to do continuously and see real rewards from it. I wrote the reports from each day, so please read all the article till the end.

1. Fist Day of Enema–Monday
- How my Day Start? I get up 5.30 am on Monday and brush my teeth. Then I prepare vegetables for Juice and Sabji. Then I took my Shower and then I took Enema.
- Enema: I took enema on Monday, April 19, 2021 for the first day.
- Diet for the Day: After enema, I did Yoga for 40 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9 am I took small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni. Around 11. 40 I ate Fruits and then 2 pm I ate lunch(Missi Roti, Sabji and Salad of Cucumber, Broccoli) 4 Pm I took small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni and matter para. Around 6.30 I ate one sweet mango and 8 Pm dinner(Roti, Sabji & Salad)
- How was my Day? Overall day physically was not that good(means I felt very tired for whole day)Mentally was okay. Yes I did work for my Online Business, Cooking & even I cleaned my home as well.
2. Second Day of Enema–Tuesday
- How my day Start? I get up 5.30 am on Tuesday and brush my teeth. Then I prepare vegetables for Juice and Sabji. Then I took my Shower and then I took Enema.
- Enema: I took enema on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 for the second day
- Diet for the Day: After enema I did Yoga for 40 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9 am I took small cup of Masala Chai with one penni. Around 11. 40 I ate Fruits and then 2 pm I ate lunch(Missi Roti, Sabji and Salad of Cucumber, Broccoli) 4 Pm I took small cup of Masala Chai with one penni and matar para. - How was my Day? Overall day physically and mentally was good. I felt active and fresh for whole day. I enjoyed my day.
3. Third Day of Enema–Wednesday
- How my Day Start? I get up 5.30 am on Wednesday and brush my teeth. Then I prepare vegetables for Juice and Sabji. Then I took my Shower and then I took Enema.
- Enema: I took enema on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 for the third day.
- Diet for the Day: After enema I did Yoga for 35 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9.30 am I enjoyed my small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni. Around 12 pm, I ate Fruits and then 2 pm I ate lunch(Missi Roti, Masoor Dal (split red lentil) and Salad of Cucumber, Broccoli) 4 Pm I took small cup of Masala Chai with one penni and matar para. Around 6.30 I ate one sweet mango and 8 Pm dinner(Roti, Sabji & Salad)
- How was my Day? Overall day was okay. physically and mentally okay. I worked for all day, but was feeling tired for half of the day, then after 3 pm, I started to feel fresh and active.
4. Fourth Day of Enema–Thursday
- How my Day Start? I get up 5.17 am on Thursday and brush my teeth. Then I prepare vegetables for Juice and Sabji. Then I took my Shower and then I took Enema.
- Enema: I took enema on Thursday, April 22, 2021 for fourth day.
- Diet for the Day: After enema I did Yoga for 30 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9.30 am I enjoyed my small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni. Around 12 pm, I ate Fruits and then 2 pm I ate lunch(Missi Roti, Aloo, matar, Carrot mix sabji (used fresh peas not frozen) and Salad of Cucumber, Broccoli) 4 Pm I took small cup of Masala Chai with one penni and matar para. 5. Fifth Day of Enema–Friday

- Enema: I took enema on Friday April 23, 2021 for fifth day.
- Diet for the Day: After enema I did Yoga for 30 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9.30 am I enjoyed my small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni. Around 12 pm, I ate Fruits and then 2 pm I ate lunch(Missi Roti, Aloo, matar, Carrot mix sabji (used fresh peas not frozen) and Salad of Cucumber, Broccoli) 4 Pm I took small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni and matter para. - Enema: I took enema on Saturday, April 24, 2021 for sixth day.
- Diet for the Day: After enema I did Yoga for 30 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9.30 am I enjoyed my small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni. Around 12 pm, I ate Fruits and then 2 pm I ate lunch(Missi Roti, Aloo, matar, Carrot mix sabji (used fresh peas not frozen) and Salad of Cucumber, Broccoli) 4 Pm I took small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni and matter para. Around 6.30 I ate one sweet mango and 8 Pm dinner(Roti, same Sabji & Salad)
- How was my Day? Saturday I had Migraine, so due to that my mood was little upset. Otherwise I did so much cleaning work for my Home, because we did renovate our new basement, so that’s why there was so much dust in all our home. From evening, without taking any medicine, my migraine was okay. My always goal is not to eat any medicine, so that’s why I do all Natural things.
7. Seventh Day of Enema–Sunday
- How my Day Start? I get up 6.15 am on Sunday and brush my teeth. Then I prepare vegetables for Juice and Sabji. Then I took my Shower and then I took Enema.
- Enema: I took enema on Sunday April 25, 2021 for seventh day.
- Diet for the Day: After enema I did Yoga for 30 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9.30 am I enjoyed my small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni. Around 12 pm, I ate Fruits and then 2 pm I ate lunch(Missi Roti, with mix sabji and Salad of Cucumber, Broccoli) 4 Pm I took small cup of Masala Chai with one penni and matar para. Around 6.30 I ate one sweet mango and 8 Pm dinner(In dinner we ate Quinoa Khichdi)How I make Quinoa Khichdi? In pressure cooker roast Jeera and then add Washed and chopped vegetables; such as-Cauliflower, Carrot, Potato, beans any of your choice. Then Add some Washed Quinoa in your pressure cooker and add water to cook. Add little bit of Turmeric Powder and Pink Himalayan Salt to taste and close the lid. Give two whistle and when the steam is released, open and serve it hot. Very tasty and healthy.
- How was my Day? Overall day was good. Today I had walk, because the weather is getting better here in Canada.
8. Eighth Day of Enema–Monday
- How my Day Start? I get up 5.35 am on Monday and brush my teeth. Then I prepare vegetables for Juice and Sabji. Then I took my Shower and then I took Enema.
- Enema: I took enema on Monday April 26, 2021 for eighth day.
- Diet for the Day: After enema I did Yoga for 30 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9.30 am I enjoyed my small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni. Around 12 pm, I ate Fruits and then 2 pm I ate lunch(Missi Roti, and Sabji of Shimla mirch and aloo with Salad of Cucumber, Broccoli) 4 Pm I took small cup of Masala Chai with one penni and matar para. Around 6.30 I ate one sweet mango and 8 Pm dinner(Roti, same Sabji & Salad)
- How was my Day? Overall day was okay.
9. Ninth Day of Enema–Tuesday
- How my Day Start? I get up 5.25 am on Tuesday and brush my teeth. Then I prepare vegetables for Juice and Spinach Saag today. Then I took my Shower and then I took Enema.
- Enema: I took enema on Tuesday April 27, 2021 for the Ninth day.
- Diet for the Day: After enema I did Yoga for 40 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9.30 am I enjoyed my small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni. Around 12 pm, I ate Fruits and then 2 pm I ate lunch(Missi Roti with Spinach Saag and Salad of Cucumber, Broccoli) Today 5 Pm I took small cup of Masala Chai with one penni and matar para. In dinner I ate Quinoa Salad and One Chapati with Jaggery(Made by melting Ghee and then added Jaggery powder and mixed nicely)
- How was my Day? Today my day was good, physically and mentally.
10. Tenth Day of Enema–Wednesday(Final)
- How my Day Start? I get up 5.25 am on Wednesday and brush my teeth. Then I prepare vegetables for Juice and Lauki Sabji for today. Then I took my Shower and then I took Enema.
- Enema: I took enema on Wednesday April 28, 2021 for the Tenth day.
- Diet for the Day: After enema I did Yoga for 35 minutes and took my Green Juice. Then I did my One hour Vipassana Meditation. Around 9.30 am I enjoyed my small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni. Around 12 pm, I ate my lunch and 3 Pm, I took small cup of Masala Chai with one Penni and matar para. Around 5 Pm, I ate fruits and again one small cup of tea around 6 Pm. In dinner I ate Roti with Ghiya (bottle gourd) Sabji and Saag left from previous day.
- How was my Day? Today my day was good, physically and mentally and I enjoyed each and everything what ever I did.
My Real Review for 10 Days Enema Experience
- I did it, because of, I was feeling so much gas problem and legs pain problem. Even I was having migraine continuously.
- So Did I see any Improvements? Yes, my migraine is totally okay, in my legs little difference and feeling little light, because I’m able to lose two pounds weight, because when first day, I started my Enema on Monday, April 19, 2021, My weight was 154 Pounds and now my weight is 152 pounds.
- I never did enema continuously, but did 5-6 times last year first time in my life, because now I am 57 years old, so I’m glad that I tried and overall I will say, I will not make the habit of using it every day, because I made so many good changes in my daily diet, which is more important to stay healthy.
- I was also feeling heat in my body, that was the also cause to start enema.
- Do I feel any difference in my body heat? Yes little bit heat is reduced in overall body.
Overall at the end of this article, which I wrote about my enema experience, I would like to say this only that using enema once a while is fine, but we should not use it each and everyday, instead we should improve our lifestyle and eating habits, so we don’t have to use it on daily basis, because when we eat healthy food and don’t eat junk food, then we stay healthy.
